“God’s Love For Mothers”
Dear Believer(s):
Today we live in a world of many uncertainties with trouble all around us. We worry about our future; particularly the future of our children. But there is one guiding light that God has given us. It is mothers, who He has trusted to do His will and His work.
God has placed within each God loving mother the power of the Holy Spirit. In a world filled with the sinful nature of men, God has anointed mothers who will share His love with all mankind.
The future of our children can be secure. Why? Because of the guiding light, and love that God has given to mothers. When most children are in physical pain, who do they turn to? When a child’s world has collapsed, where does this little one find peace, joy, love and happiness? In the arms of mama! God has given us mothers who love Him and He fills mothers with His love so they can love us.
I believe as long as there is a godly mother, each child has the hope of becoming a godly being. Mothers, we need your love, and your continued sharing of the “Fruit of the Spirit” to make the world a better place.
God has greatly used mothers in biblical times and He is still using mothers today. What makes a godly mother such a potent vessel of God? Christian Mothers know the power of prayer. They believe in the power of prayer. They realize what Jesus said in John 14:12-13, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father.” Mothers also believe in the scripture stated in Matthew18:18-19, “Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven,” As mothers and I join together in prayer, we are seeing God move in powerful ways. The Bible tells us in James 5:16, “The prayer of a good person has a powerful effect.”
Godly mothers are loving individuals. This love is from God. The love godly mothers have is unwavering. This love overcomes hurt, disappointment, trouble, grief, loneliness, false accusations or whatever the enemy brings against them. Their love for God, their faith in Him, and their obedience to Him enables them to conquer all the tricks of the devil. God help us to have and exhibit the love that you have embedded in godly mothers.
Godly mothers seek to please God in all they do. They are sensitive to the moving of the Holy Spirit. Their love for God allows them not to be bound by pride and stubbornness. God gives godly mothers wisdom, knowledge, and the gift of discerning of spirits.
If you are a mother today who has not received Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, please accept Him right now. We want you to join the family of God and allow God to fill you with the Holy Spirit so He can use you. Mothers, you need the love of God so you can share it with your family, and those of the world.
I know that mothers want a better life for their children, husbands, and all of their loved ones. When mothers contact me for prayer, it is usually for others. They want to see others blessed.
A mother in California recently contacted me regarding her son’s poor school grades. We prayed for her eleven year old so, and I counseled with him. This godly mother sent me a copy of her son’s latest grades. He has received all A’s and B’s. He has also changed his attitude toward school. We are all rejoicing because of answered prayer.
A wife from Virginia called because she was not only concerned about her husband’s physical health but also his spiritual health. I prayed with her husband several times for a physical healing. She said to me would you pray for my husband to be saved the next time you talk with him. I did as she asked andher husband gladly accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour. Thank God for a wife and mother who cares. We are continuing to pray for her husband’s physical health.
There was a mother in New Jersey who was not saved. She loved her husband and children. She made a special effort to see that her children went to church. This lovely mother was diagnosed with cancer, and of course her family was frightened and did not know what to do. I knew the family very well and had been praying for them. One day as I was praying for this mother, the Holy Spirit said for me to visit her in the hospital and pray for her. I said to the Lord, “I do not want to go to the hospital and pray for this mother. She does not go to church. She does not believe in healing, and suppose she does not want me to pray for her.” I was not in the ministry at this time but I knew that I must be obedient to God. I went to the hospital not expecting anything to happen. When I arrived this mother was asleep. I was about to walk out of the hospital room and leave. But the other patient in the room said to me, she has been expecting you. I said to myself how could she have known that I was coming to pray for her? I spoke with this mother and prayed with her. She was so excited and thankful that I prayed with her. The next shock for me was two days later this mother left the hospital healed. She lived for fifteen years after this miraculous healing. How great God is. He used me in spite of my doubting, and fears. God loves mothers and will perform miracles for them.
Godly mothers are helping to extend the Kingdom of God. They are bold and willing to be vessels for God. God has entrusted them to spread the gospel of Christ where others have failed. God is using these mothers to perform miracles and defeat the devil.
Today I encourage all mothers not to give up on your dreams and goals. God has work for you to do. He knows He can depend on you. In spite of what the devil wants you to believe, God is still on the throne and He is still in control.I thank God for the mighty army of saved mothers that He is using to bring love, joy, and peace into the lives of others today.
Let’s you and I pray together;“Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of mothers. The world would not be a place of love without them. Lord, continue to use them for your glory. We ask that you bless each
mother today with special joy, love, and peace. We ask also that every member of their household be

saved. Father God, we again thank you for mothers and let us honor and obey them always. We pray this prayer in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen!”
Thank you so much for your gifts to this ministry. I do not take your giving for granted. I know that you will be blessed for sowing into good ground. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
