“America Needs Jesus Now!”
Dear Believer (s):
America was founded on godly principles. It is supposed to be a country where we trust in God. But if you look at our country spiritually today, we are found lacking. We are in many cases missing the Christ like principles that God has instructed and directed us to follow.
Why has America turned away from God? I believe first of all, it is because of the devil. The devil is a liar. Many have been deceived by him. The devil is Anti-Christ. He is against all who serve, honor, worship, and obey God. But true people of God need not fear him.
The Bible says, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
Here is how all godly people have the divine protection of God John 3:16 states, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Christ was crucified, dead, buried, and arose from the dead for us.
For those who have received Him, they have been forgiven of their sins, and are entitled to healing as they live, and walk in obedience to God. We have power over the devil, and his works and authority. The Bible says in 1John 3:8, “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”1John 4:4 states, “Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” And in Luke 10:19 it says, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
The devil has no power over an obedient child of God. Jesus has enabled us to have power and authority over the works of the devil.
God has not given us a spirit of fear as it states in 2Timothy 1:7, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” We do not have to fear all of the ungodly, bad, evil and wicked things in our society. We do not have to fear the devil, the world, people or any other satanic powers. We have victory over all the power of the enemy.
The key to having and receiving all of God’s blessings, miracles, promises and healings is to be obedient to His Word, and live holy.
The devil is the god of this age. “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” (2Corinthians 4:3, 4) What does the Bible
mean by “The god of this age, or the god of this world?” The devil is the god of the world systems of the habitable earth. These world systems embrace business, society, politics, and religion. The devil is the
ruler of the “power of darkness.” of the spirit world. So powerful is the devil that no man can successfully resist him without divine help!
We find we live in a society made up of mostly people who could not care less where you go when you die! Business, in the majority wants what it can get out of you. Your money, if you are a customer, your labor, if you are an employee. The majority of today’s businessmen will sell anything to anybody, young or old, man or woman.
Why is it that way? God’s Word tells us: “For the love of money is the root of all evil.” (1Timothy 6:10) We live, work, and move in and out of world systems that are controlled to a great degree by men and women who are children of the devil, as stated in John 8:44. We are in the world; but we are not compelled to be of the world. All the world has to offer will perish. But what God has to offer will never perish or pass away!
The Bible says, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” (1John 2:15-17)
The enemy wants us to deny God and His Almighty Power. He wants us to believe that he is more powerful than God. Satan wants us to serve him and not God. But again the devil is a liar. He comes to steal, kill, and destroy God’s people. We must believe God’s Word. Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man: that he should lie? Who are you going to worship; the God of all truth or the devil who is the father of all lies?
We worry about all the worldly happenings, and who is in control. God is in total control. Look at what it says in Isaiah 45: 6, 7, “That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.”
So many are worried about politicians, and the political upheaval in America. We spend so much of our time watching the political races on TV, the Internet, and listening to the Radio. People want to know are you going to vote for the Democrat or Republican candidate. As Christians we must pray for who God allows to be in office. The prayers of God’s People can surely make a difference. The Bible says in James 5:16, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:17-18 states, “Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.”
The Love of Jesus is what America needs today. All true anointed Christians must pray for Our Nation. Our prayers and obedient living can change the course of history. Christians, we must manifest the Love of Jesus in our actions and be led by the Holy Spirit in all that we do.
The Bible says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2Chronicles 7:14)
I ask that you join with me as we make October 27 through October 31, Special Days of Prayer. I challenge you to join in prayer with me every morning or evening at 8:00 a.m. or 8:00p.m. We will pray for five (5) things:
1. Lord, let me be guided by Walking In Obedience To Your Word.
2. Lord, I pray for All My Family and Loved Ones.
3. Lord, I pray for America and Every Election Official, The President, The Congress, State and Government Officials, Spiritual Leaders, Business Owners, Our Schools and Our Children.
4. I pray for Physical, Mental, Emotional Well-Being, and Spiritual Wisdom.
5. I pray for Financial Blessing and Divine Protection.
Let’s pray for God to make our Nation what He wants it to be. Our prayers can turn this country back to God.
I ask you to join me in praying right now. “Dear God, those of us who love you because you first loved us stand or kneel in your presence. We come to you our Holy, Righteous, Almighty, and Everlasting God. We desperately need your help. You are the only one who can change the wicked and sinful hearts of men and women. You see how Americans have turned from you and are serving the devil. Lord, forgive our ungodly ways and worship of idols. Heavenly Father, pour Your Righteous Spirit upon us again and lead us into the godly paths you would have us to go. Father, we need the Love of Jesus to be manifested in the lives of all men, women, boys and girls. We thank you for restoring this country to the way that you love. As we humbly walk, and live daily in obedience to you; we surrender our all to you. Renew our lives to serve you from today, and forever. We praise, magnify, and seek you again in all that we do. Revive us again spiritually. Dear Lord, thank you again, and again for hearing this prayer from the heart of your committed ones. We pray in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen!”
I thank those who support the ministry on a regular basis. God sees your giving, and you can stand on His Word which says, “Whatever good you make happen for someone else. I will make happen for you.” (Ephesians 6:8) If you have not given, pray and ask God what to do and be obedient to what He tells you.
