“THERE IS ONE NUMBER THE DEVIL FEARS…”
Dear Believer(s):
Saint Luke Chapter 9, Jesus called His twelve disciples together, But…after He gave them the “POWER AND AUTHORITY” to bind, and defeat the devil… He sent them forth…TWO BY TWO! (Mark 6:7)
Saint Luke Chapter 10, Jesus appointed another seventy…But …when He gave them their assignment it was …TWO BY TWO!
TWO IS THE KEY!!! Our Heavenly Father tells us in this scripture, “WHEN TWO OF HIS CHILDREN…touch one thing…and agree on it …ANYTHING THEY ASK…SHALL BE DONE!” (Matthew 18:19) TWO IS THE KEY!
Whatever TWO of God’s Children bind…God will bind. Whatever TWO of God’s children loose… God will loose!
HERE IS THE POWER THE DEVIL FEARS! WHEN TWO OF GOD’S PEOPLE JOIN IN FAITH…Moses said, “one of us could chase a thousand… (LOOK OUT DEVIL) BUT TWO OF US, IN “HOLY GHOST HARMONY,” CAN PUT TEN THOUSAND DEVILS TO FLIGHT…” (Deuteronomy 32:30)
Beloved, when two people of God agree, and touch the problem, through THE POWER of The Holy Ghost…IT’S GOT TO MOVE!!!
Regardless, of how many are in your family, or, how many are in your church…THE MIRACLE NUMBER IS TWO!
When it’s time to…”BIND THAT SICKNESS, “or, loose those finances…Jesus knows the “RIGHT TWO” to JOIN IN PARTERSHIP to get the job done! AMEN!
TWO BELIEVERS… “Peter and John, touched a man who had been bound by a sickness all of his life… and IMMEDIATELY HE WAS LOOSED! The amazing thing was…this man… was laid daily at the door of the church, which was full of people…”
THE “RIGHT TWO” CAN ALWAYS MOVE A MOUNTAIN…GOD ONLY NEEDS TWO!
Let’s look at this principle that Jesus outlined in Matthew Chapter 18. His statement was simple. If two of you agree on earth it will be done. Let’s read the scripture, “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 18:19)
With His poignant declaration, Jesus brought the workings of faith to the irreducible minimum, the agreement of only two. If anyone is in need of an answer from God, they don’t have to wait until they hear from the Pope, the Rabbi, or the Bishop or the Minister. All they need is another person with one simple qualification, that “other” must be an “agree-er or believer”, then they can gain a miracle.
The exciting comfort for the two in agreement, is the Third Party. When we stand, agreeing in prayer, in the Name above all other names, along comes Jesus and He stands in the midst, agreeing with us. It’s a Holy Spirit bonding, a supernatural pact that causes things to happen within the Kingdom of God.
As a matter of fact, the “Prayer of Agreement” is the tool God has given believers so they can accomplish the will of the Father on earth as it is accomplished in Heaven. It is our way to conduct Kingdom business.
The “Prayer of Agreement” is a serious prayer. First of all, when we agree with Jesus, we are agreeing with His Word. He is the Living Word and we are agreeing with Him.
If we are going to be in perfect agreement with Jesus, we must know what His Word says.
One of the best ways to encourage our faith for prayer is to search the scriptures for the truth we want to stand upon. The Bible declares, “By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.” (II Corinthians 13:1)
When we see a promise or a principle stated in several places throughout scripture, we are encouraged to agree with Jesus and pray in faith believing.
Secondly, we must agree with the Word in our conduct. The words of Jesus have authority for our lives. We must not only give verbal or mental assent to what He says, we must obey. Jesus said, “Whoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.” (Matthew 7:24-25)
The truth is, we could stand in a circle; hold hands; say, “in the name of Jesus,” and even speak in tongues a little, and think we are in agreement with the King. Yet, if our lives are being lived in contradiction to Jesus’ words or commandments, we are deluded by thinking we are praying in agreement with Him. Clearly the Word states, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.” (Psalm 66:18)
As believers who wholeheartedly agree with Jesus, we must be constantly aligning our thoughts, words, and actions with the authority of the Word.
Find a nugget of truth to hold onto as your own. Search the Scriptures for the words of Jesus to speak to your need. Don’t give up until you’ve found your answer in the Word. Then come into agreement with it in your thoughts, in your lifestyle and in your confession. Get someone to agree with you in prayer, and watch Jesus come right into the midst.
Believer, the “Power of Agreement” is a mighty force in the life of the believer: Whatever you may have need of today, your answer is in agreement. Study the Word of God for the promises you need. Let faith come alive in you. Then, find someone to agree with you in prayer. If you can’t find anyone at home, I’ll agree with you. Just put your faith to work; agree with Jesus; watch Him come right into the midst of your situation. Whatever you want, it’s yours!
Let’s Pray: “Dear God, you have given us the “Prayer of Agreement” so that we can accomplish Your Will on earth as it is accomplished in Heaven. As we use this tool, we are agreeing with Jesus and His Word. Father, let us put our faith to work and agree with Jesus, He will come through for us right in the middle of our troubles. We pray this prayer in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen!”
