“THE TIME IS NOW”
Dear Believer: (s)
We are seeing America go through so much turmoil. Never in recent history has America faced so many problems. We are facing many uncertainties. Events taking place that have never happened in supposedly the land of the free.
American citizen’s lives are faced with so many challenges and uncertainties. We are bombarded with problem situations of great magnitude. Just to name a few, The Coronavirus Pandemic with the many deaths and sicknesses that has totally changed the American life style, and the way we were accustom to living. The systemic racial problems, that has denied the blessings of liberty to black citizens. The political arena where some elected officials are only concerned about themselves and not for the welfare of all citizens; Adding to this problem is the great divide between democrats and republicans; An economic system that has so many advantages for the wealthy, and has not really helped the poor and disadvantaged. Because of the pressures on this system, it has become highly volatile. An educational system that has become a system that has gone to virtual learning and teaching of our children; Many students are somewhat confused, others left behind, and there are many questions about the future of our children’s education. We have become an America that is so divided that we do not truly trust each other as neighbors. What has happened to the God of Love Spirit that is supposed to be in our hearts? America has just celebrated its’ 244 birthday. Who would have ever dreamed that we would be faced with such an array of problems, questions, and uncertainties?
Is America today truly the great nation our forefathers wanted it to be? Are we exemplifying the Christian or Christ like Spirit that we were founded upon? Are we really One Nation Under God?
“The safety and prosperity of nations ultimately and essentially depend on the protection and the blessings of Almighty God, and the national acknowledgment of this truth is…an indispensable duty which the people owe to Him.” (President John Adams-Proclamation for a National Fast-March 23, 1798)
The United States has more than 400,000 churches. The United States has the largest Christian population in the world, with nearly 240 million. The modern official motto of the United States of America, as established in a 1956 law signed by President Dwight D. Eisenhower is “In God We Trust.” This phase first appeared on U.S. coins in 1864. What has happened to our Christian nation?
Is America doomed? Can we survive as a great Christian nation? Will there be a future America for our children and grandchildren?
My answer to the many problems and situations I have raised is YES we can survive. We are not doomed. America can be a great nation for our future children of all races and colors.
How can we solve all of the problems, trials, and troubles that we face today? There is only one way. Men and women cannot solve our problems nor do they have the answers. The religious system does not have the answer. The bright minds in business do not have the answers that we need. Politicians do not have the solutions to our problems. Families do not have the answer. Society does not have the answer.
The only One who can help us, free us from self destruction is our ALMIGHTY GOD. He tells us very clearly in His Word, which is the Bible. “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2Chronicle 7:14) God places a condition upon His blessings, and also upon any nation who would seek His favor. What does it mean for us to humble ourselves and seek the face of God? It means we openly confess Him as God. We confess we cannot operate our lives except in Him, and that we bring our lives into obedience and faith to His Highest Will. Remember, a nation is only as great as its people, and if the PEOPLE will obey God’s Word, and believe Him, their land will be filled with the blessings and prosperity God pours out of heaven for all of its’ people.
Christians who are truly born-again or saved by power of the Holy Spirit and led by God in Spirit, can bring about the change God has for us and for America. The hearts of men and women, boys and girls can be changed by the perfect love of God. 1John 4:17-21 says, “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.19 We love him, because he first loved us.20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 21 And this commandment has we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
Americans, let us return to the love of God. We need God. God’s love manifested in each of us will be the key to our nation being blessed, our loving each other, and our being ONE NATION UNDER GOD.
Let us pray. “Dear God, please forgive us of our sinful nature. Because of our sins and neglecting your precepts our nation has become one of greed, selfishness, stealing from one another, killing, without any remorse. Destroying for the sake of evil intent; Lack of or no love for God, no love for ourselves, no love for our neighbors, and no love for our enemies. Lord, we humbly bow before You and ask that You remove all ungodly ways from our hearts. We repent of our sins. We ask that You guide, lead and direct us. We are crying out to You from our hearts and not our heads or minds. God, teach us to become God fearing and God loving individuals again. We thank You God for Your perfect love and compassion. Lord, we surrender totally to You. We want Your Obedient Spirit in our hearts as we now walk with You daily. This allows Your love to be manifested in each of our lives. This will allow us have Your peace, love, and joy that will renew Your Spirit in America. Our children and grandchildren will live in a nation where You truly dwell and rule forever. We pray this prayer in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen!”
The spiritual love of God is what we need to change America. I challenge and invite all born-again or saved Christians to join with me on Saturday July 26 for a half day of fasting and prayer for America. Let’s fast for a half day and end with a prayer. I thank you for joining with me in asking God to deliver us from self destruction and return to His Spiritual way of life.
Thank you so much. I pray that all of the blessings of God will overtake you for your unselfish giving and sacrifices you have made in financial and prayerful support of this ministry. I especially appreciate your help during this difficult time. I am totally grateful. I know that God will multiply back to you the love you have shown in enabling me to Spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
