Merry Christmas

“Wonderful Counselor Prince of Peace”

Dear Believer(s):

Who knows the hearts of men except God? God knew that men would be filled with evil. He saw that the idols men worshipped would change his nature from the image God created him to be. Genesis 1:27 says, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

God knew that man would desire and seek worldly pleasures rather than follow His righteous path. Throughout the life of man we see the disobedient spirit in his nature and his total disregard for his Maker, as he prefers to live unrighteous.

Romans 1:18-32 says, “18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”

But thanks be to God He forgives. He made a way for man’s redemption and salvation. Why? John 3:16 states, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”.

Through man’s mental faculties he cannot understand this love nor can he know God. God can only be known through Jesus Christ. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)

Jesus Christ has come as the Savior of the world. He came for all those lost and worshipping the pleasures of the world. He came for you and me. Let those of us who are now in “The Light” of God, offer the gift of Salvation to all those we know who are in darkness. Let’s give the Eternal gift of God. Let’s bring to the lost, the gift of Salvation. We can offer all sinners that we know the opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We can give the gift of everlasting truth and the gift of God’s love to a hurting and dying world. This gift is definitely needed.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)

We must remember not to forget the archenemy of all mankind. There is a devil who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy God’s people. This Christmas and throughout the Holiday Season, let us use the wisdom and knowledge of God in our family relationships, in our spending, in our planning and traveling, and in our showing the love of God in all that we do and say.

Please do not forget your financial support is truly needed and will help me as we reach out to help others. Thanks for your generous giving!

Please join me in prayer. Dear God this Christmas Season, may you guide us in leading a lost soul to Christ. Let us be the bearer of Good News, “And she shall bring forth a Son, and thou shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Let us share the birth of Christ and the real reason for Christmas with others. We pray this prayer in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen!
