“A Time For Jesus

Dear Believer(s):

With all of the trouble and uncertainties we face today, it is definitely a time for Jesus. With all the world‘s problems, America’s trouble and our individual difficult situations and trials, we need help. We try so hard to handle the problems we face but we have no permanent answers. We seem to repeat, experience, and face the same problems over and over again. We need permanent solutions to our problems. We are looking for peace in our lives. The Truth is, the world’s solutions or answers cannot solve or alleviate our trouble.

Peace that gives us freedom in our minds, hearts, emotions and spirits can only come from God.

True peace, spiritual peace cannot come from our minds.

The Bible which is the Word of God and is All Truth tells us in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Isaiah 26:3 says, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”   The world with its ideas and solutions cannot give lasting peace to the lives of individuals. Real peace can only come from God. God wants you and me to have His peace.

God sent Jesus into the world so that He can give comfort to us in all of the troubling situations we face today. Do you have the peace, love, joy, power, and comfort that Jesus gives? God’s Son was crucified, died, and was buried, and He arose so that we could have the Spirit of God in our lives always.

If you are trying to handle all the cares of the world and trials that one faces, you cannot do it. The trials, trouble, and problems we encounter are too much for the human soul. No individual can use his or her mind, will, emotions, physical strength or intelligence to have complete peace. People have tried to use material things, money, social standing, educational learning, power, prestige, worldly sex, drugs, careers, fame, pets, and religion to give themselves peace, love and joy. Some of these things may bring temporary fulfillment. But only Jesus Christ is the One who can give you the total courage, will, desire, and ability to overcome the stresses, pressures, disappointments, loneliness, hurts, evilness, wickedness, temptations, unrighteousness, and the sinful nature of man in the world.

A time for Jesus! The Bible which is the Word of God tells us, “Wherein in times past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.” (Ephesians 2:2)  In Ephesians 2:3, it tells us, “All men are by nature the children of wrath, “children of the devil.” If we are not God’s children and we do not have His inward Spirit directing our lives we cannot have an abundance of joy, peace, and love. We are all children of the devil and he keeps us in sin. We live as sinners and are controlled by the devil, if we are not saved.

All unbelievers walk as the devil leads them. Paul said, “We (as unbelievers) ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures (that is, we were servants, slaves to lust and pleasure, led of the devil to serve these things), living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another” (Titus 3:3). The unsaved are agents of the devil doing his will and following his commands. John 10:10 tells us, “that the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy.” Is he destroying you today by stealing your joy, peace, and                                      replacing it with tormenting fear? John 8:44 tells us, “that the devil is a liar and the father of all lies.” What lie has the devil told you causing you to be deceived of the spiritual goodness of God?

If you are faced today with fear, doubt, unbelief, worried about life’s necessities, uncertain about the future of America, troubled about the future of your children, and worried about sickness and death because of the coronavirus, this is a time for Jesus. Neither you nor I can handle all of the trouble we face today. We need a Savior. We need Jesus to handle all of the forces of evil that come against us.  Jesus’ enduring love is the answer. John 3:16 tells us, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” God does not want us to perish. God does not want us defeated and destroyed by all of the cares of the world. He wants us to have an abundant life through Jesus. You can enter into God’s total blessings for your life and become a part of His family. You can become a part of God’s family by accepting Jesus as your personal Savior and allowing Him to live in your heart. Now is the time for Jesus.

I ask you at this very moment if you are not saved, invite Jesus into your heart right now. Repeat these words. “LORD JESUS, I CONFESS WITH MY MOUTH THAT YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD AND I BELIEVE IN MY HEART THAT GOD RAISED YOU FROM THE DEAD. THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME. AMEN!”  If you have repeated this affirmation, you are saved and a part of God’s family. Please write or e-mail me so that I can help you in your walk with God.

Now that you are a part of God’s family, as a child of God you have the Spirit of Jesus living in you. By faith you are entitled to all of God’s promises and you have eternal life. As a new Christian, it is necessary for you to read the Bible and pray. These are two of the important steps in the process of learning and knowing who God is. The Bible is God’s Word, reading and studying it enables us to develop our faith and become obedient to God. We start to understand His undying love for us.

Now that you are saved or born again, it does not mean that you will not have trouble in your life. What it does mean is that Jesus is always with you. He resides in you. It means what God tells in Psalm 34:19, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” God lets us know that we do not have to be defeated by the afflictions of life orchestrated by the devil. The Spirit of Jesus living in us is the same Power that God used to raise Jesus from the dead. This Power enables us to overcome and be victorious in all of the trials, trouble, and problems we face.

Those of us who are saved have experienced the Almighty Power of God. We know that when we have put our trust in Him, He has delivered us. We also stand on His Word, “that no weapon formed against us shall prosper.” However, there are times we are shaken by circumstances but we remember that our God is with us.

Today is a time for Jesus. Let all of God’s people come together daily praying for those who are lost in the world. Let us share with the unsaved the love of God. As Christians we know in our hearts that God is still on the throne. He is still in charge of all creation, and our faith in Him gives us joy, peace, love, and victory.

This is definitely a time for Jesus. I hope that you will join in agreement with me proclaiming that Jesus is our king. We will pray unceasingly to defeat satan in every area of our lives and give God all the glory.

We must not get caught up and be bound by fear because of the news. We must not allow the political system to cause us to hate each other. We must not lose our faith in God because of bad economic conditions.

We should not allow the devil to lie to us and not use the wisdom of God is dealing with the coronavirus, systematic racism, and other problems that we face.  Our God is greater than any of these situations. He loves us and we must not let anything separate us from His love. As we put our faith in God, walk in obedience with Him, He will provide and protect us. The Bible tells us in Numbers 23:19, Titus 1:2, and Hebrews 6:18 that God cannot lie.

Let us pray. “Dear God the people of the world seem not to care about Your love, will, and way. But You have called Your saved ones to shine Your light on them. We as Your godly children can draw them to You. We were once lost but You saved us. So now strengthen us to share Your Word and love with those in darkness. Heavenly Father, just as You gave us a new life, let us bring forth those in darkness who belong to You. We thank You God for Your never ending love, protection, guidance, and caring. Your Son’s Spirit that lives in us, will keep us safe, and delivers us from all trouble. We pray this prayer in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen!”

Thank you very much for your prayers and financial support of this ministry. I need your financial support in order to continue to spread the Gospel.

We Can Have Total Peace,
