“The God of all truth”

Dear Believer(s):

We hear so many voices today. We hear so many opinions. We hear news of all kinds. People are looking for answers. They are looking for Truth. People are looking for advice and guidance. They want to know the real truth. People are saying who can we believe?

If you really want to know the Truth, total Truth, look to the Word of God. God’s Word is the Truth. The Bible contains the Truth. The Bible is God’s Word. It is God’s Word and comes to us by inspiration: “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (2Peter 1:21)

The Bible is the oldest and most important Book in the world. It is not important because of its age but because of its content. It is the true Word of God. No greater Book has ever been written than the Bible. The Book given to mankind by God Almighty Himself.

Let’s stop believing the lie or the lies of men. Let’s go to God’s Word which is the Bible, and we can find all truth. Jesus Christ became the “Living Word”: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” (John 1:1-5)

God’s Word is eternal. Jesus said God’s Word is so certain and settled not even the smallest jot of it would pass away. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (Matthew 5:18) In fact, Jesus noted it would be easier for the whole universe to disappear then even the smallest mark of His Word to fade. “And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.”  (Luke 16:17)

Truth is the test.  Time has proven the Truth of scripture. Even the severest critics have to admit the wisdom of the Bible. The Bible is Truth and lives have been dramatically changed because men have made the Bible their guidebook. But if God’s Word is life changing, it will be because the reader has taken that important leap of faith, believing it is God’s eternal Word.

The Bible is purposeful. “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” (Romans 15:4) Over 1,500 years were taken in writing the Bible. Men from all walks of life, rich and poor, old, and young, were moved upon by the Holy Spirit to pen those immortal words. Nothing is wasted. God says what He means and means what He says. These things have been written for our learning. We can glean patience and comfort from the scriptures. The Bible has purpose. The Bible is all Truth.

The Bible is to be studied. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2Timothy 2:15) over 2,500 times throughout the Bible we are told it is the Word of God. Because of its importance, we must make God’s Word part of our daily diet. It is not enough just to pray; we must also read the Word of God. Prayer is our talking with God. The Bible is God talking to us. To neglect either of these spiritual exercises cuts off communication and will bring about spiritual famine. Each Word of the Bible is God-breathed and to ignore its meaning is to ignore God.

God’s Word is important in the life of the Church as well as the life of the individual. If we are looking for real truth today, we can find it in the Bible. We look for Truth in many other places, but God’s Word is total Truth. We do not have to believe the lies of satan. We do not have to believe the lies of men, we can study, read, and believe God. God tells us the Truth. God cannot lie. God does not lie. (Numbers 23:19; Titus 1:2; Hebrews 6:18) If you are looking for Truth today, you can find it in God’s Word.

We live in a society today where people are so easily fooled by lies. But to know the Truth, we can believe God. What does God say about the situation or problem? Is what the person saying in line with the Word of God? Do not be fooled, let the Word of God lead you in all of life’s situation.

Please join me in prayer. “Dear Heavenly Father, teach us to allow your Word to be our guide. Your Word will lead us into all Truth. When we are believing and living by Your Word, we will not be deceived by satan or the lies of men. Let us use the Truth of God as a standard in knowing what is right or wrong. We pray this prayer in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen!

Thank you so much for your financial support of this ministry. Your giving enables me to Spread the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Expect God to multiply your giving back to you in all your areas of need.

Truthfully Yours,
