“Are We Loving God?”

Dear Believer(s):

Do we and are we loving our brother (Family, Neighbors, Friends, and Enemies)?

In Mark 12:28-31 it says, “And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.”

In John 4:7-12, it tells us,  “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Paul clearly tells us what Love is in 1Corinthians Chapter 13 “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body [a]to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not [b]puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, [c]thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is [d]perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”

 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

When we truly love God as He has taught us and commands, then our desires should be as stated in Luke 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

The world with all of its problems certainly needs God’s love today. The cares of the flesh, our worldly motives and selfish desires surely hinder us from loving God.

Let’s you and I as God’s Children and who have His Spirit in us show love. Let’s pray and ask God to allow us daily in all of our actions to exhibit the love of The Father.

We as Christians can bring godly attitudes to those in the world. We can remind those who may have forgotten that God’s Love is the answer for unsaved people today.

Let us pray. “Heavenly Father, teach us to love You, love our neighbor, love ourselves, and to love the lost. Your Love can save us and those in the world from total destruction. Thank You God for Your Perfect and Undying Love. We ask in the Name of Jesus that we be submerged in Your Anointing of Love and share it freely with all who need it. We pray in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen!”

I thank all of you who share God’s Love by supporting this ministry with your financial and sacrificial giving. You are enabling me to spread the Love and Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bible says in 3John 2, “ Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
